Plantar Fasciitis Treatment:

Physical therapy and the many modalities included in treatment with a Physical Therapist at our offices in Brooklyn and NYC can drastically improve the pain associated with Plantar Fasciitis. A Physical Therapist can work with you to set up customized exercises that target your plantar fascia to help relieve inflammation and pain. Physical therapy can also help strengthen your leg muscles and Achilles tendon to better support your feet and ankles. Remember, your feet bear the weight of your entire body and endure all the pressure of your activity.

Other treatments a Physical Therapist can offer for Plantar Fasciitis include Massage Therapy and custom-fit Orthotics. Custom orthotics differ from those you buy in a drug store, as these are actually fitted to your individual feet to help you better support your arch and heels, alleviating plantar fasciitis pain.
